Project Prometheus

Prometheus was a Titan, summoned by Zeus to create the humans and the animals of the Earth.
He used clay to shape all the creatures. Epimetheus, his twin brother, asked Prometheus to help him. 

Epimetheus, the after-thinker, used all the tools he had to strengthen the animals. 
He gave the tortoises a house on their back, the elephants a strong memory and, for example, a powerful 
sight to the eagles. 
When he finished the animals, Prometheus realised that his brother left nothing for him to build the humans

Prometheus, who is the forward-thinker, had nothing left to do but to steal the Fire of the Gods.  
Helped by Athena, he broke in Hephaistotus and took the holy Torch. 

Since Prometheus had nothing left to make us stronger, he decided to bring Science to us. 

 

Our Project aims to relighten 7 Fires that requires our attention in our Society. 

Those 7 torches are issues that every village, every city and every country of Europe are facing. 

Poverty, Education, Mobility/Migration, Health Care, Recreation/Leisure, Freedom, Ecology.

We are currently developping a digital European Think-tank. 

The Prometheus Project is a platform where we upload our knowledge. 
This platform is meant for the problems to be addressed, 
For the solutions to be thought,
For the test to be made,
For the learning of the projects to be uploaded from everywhere in Europe.

It's a collaborative platform where we believe that a solution found in Istanbul can work in Dublin 
after having been adapted to the culture.The outcome of this solution can even be enhanced by an other methodology thought in Sofia.

We are working on 7 think-tanks which are the seven Fires of the Project Prometheus
Poverty, Education, Freedom, Mobility/Migration, Ecology, Recreation/Leisure and Health Care.

To make it possible, we actively recruit anyone who wants to be useful and ready to share their ideas and collaborate with anyone regardless of their age, gender, background or origin.
The only requirement is to be willing to defend the European values such as Democracy and Peace, Openness and Progress.

Each platform has its own structure and environement but the initial form is :

-1+ Student in the Field
-1+ Local Representant of the test area
-1+ Local Member
-1+ Ethical Entrepreneur 

In each of the 7 think-tanks, ethical entrepreneurs will test the solutions and market them. 
The Ethical Entrepreneur can be freelance entrepreneur or member of the think-tank.
The money is then used to maintain the platform and remunerate its collaborators according to the time spent solving 
the issues our continent is facing.

Every month, Project Prometheus host an event where all the think-tankers can meet to have even brighter ideas.
